Nice parts

Nice job, Jack!

Took a long time to do that blower, it was nasty. Should move along a bit faster now that I am feeling better.

Oh, and I do not have a Sawzal but do have a cut off wheel for my drill.

good job. That fan unit looks great.

I've always found its easiest to take a part off & immediately redo it...then, months later when you pull it out of a box, all you have to do is install it - course I don't always follow my own advice!

I can definitely relate to that remark. And, I've still got parts sitting in boxes that I ordered shipped next day air. From five years ago.

Lol, send em on down Jeff. I've got room.

My plan is that when body is ready, i.e. painted it will just be an assambily. And of course locating the tons of odds and ends that I have forgotton.

Ahhhh, shucks. lol.

Ooooh..Twin under block crank! Those are rare aren't they? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hope so.

nice work, the blowers do take a while, as well as the heater box

Working on heater box now.

How many spring clips does yours have and where are they?

I want to see if I put mine together properly, I put two on the top, one on the side attaching to the blower and two on the other side by the master.

Thanks

That is a very good question, mine had none but I have some from an old restortation. As I remember two on top and one on each side.

Two on the blower side, below the blower, one on the top, at the blower end of the housing, and one on the side opposite the blower, at the top.

Hmm, well that's different but is four. Ok then four and how about where ever they are needed. hehe.
Guess they are needed to keep the sides on, after all all thet pressure built up by the little motor would blow parts all over.

Original sprite says four, one on top, two on left and one on right. However just for fun their pic shows two on top, one on left, can not see right.

Jack, and GB1, I changed my original post. I went and looked, and there is only one on the side opposite the blower. The text in the manual only refers to four of the clips.
