nice day for a drive

Temps in the mid to 60°. Just got back for a 150 mile drive around the country side all on back roads. First long ride in the TR3. Could not ask for a better day.

I could have driven today from the weathers side but the car badly needs some service:

Toasted brakes at front and rear
minor engine adjustments
new oil

will take several weeks until I get it back together...

19 inches of snow in my part of Wisconsin. The up side is, only 5 weeks till April. By then the snow usually lets up.

I've been snowed in since friday evening. I guess the plow will come through sometime tomorrow.

1 Jag XKE, 2 TR6, 1 TR4, my TR3, a Mk9 Jag and an MGB, all went wine tasting yesterday in beautiful 60 degree weather.

This is a prelude to a 3 day trip to Santa Cruz to taste more wine.

Its the only wine-ing we hear around here

As I have said before, I did not have the wisdom to move to California so I could drive my LBC year 'round, I was born here...
