Nice BE tool kit but pricey

Yes, I saw this and was a bit shocked at the price. I'm not at that stage of ownership where I really need to have everything as OE as possible. I'd probably spend the money on something else. I'd also probably enjoy more just trying to piece the thing together by waiting for Ebay bargains.

Did they actually come with a tool kit when new? If so, I was totally unaware.

Interesting that it appears to include lifting eyes, just in case you need to pull the engine beside the road some day.

Back in the Dark Ages, my 66 TR4A, which I bought new, had a few (cheap and junky) tools, including a grease gun, but nothing like this.

The Service Parts List shows the following:

Jack-lifting 2A5472
Spanner-ratchet type 2A5627
Pump-tyre 3H2274
Gun-grease 13H50
Brace-wheel 2A5620
Screwdriver and gauge-ignition 3H2648
Spanner-tyre valve 2H1683
Spanner-box-sparking plug 2A5379
Gauge-feeler-tappet and sparking plug 2A5419
Screwdriver 2H4614
Bag-tool 2A5412

I'm missing two items form my kit. My Grease gun is NOS and still has the Tecalmit instruction card with it.
