Next Project 58 Sprite

put 2 or 3 tires (without the rims) on the ground and just roll it over onto them(and no damage). My son and I did it with my '72 and it was easy. Of course I was 10 or 15 years younger then with better knees

The right drive is cool. I guess you can fix anything, but why?

After 30+ years doing resto work, I ask myself that question often.

I have flipped this car (and others) on both side right on the grass. No damage, I wouldn't do it to a freshly painted car but how bad can I hurt this thing by rolling it over a few times to work on it?
And to tell the truth, I didn't even scratch the paint. Some rust fell out when I pushed it back down and more when I flipped it the other way, but I think I cut all the rust out, replaced the whole cowl and Apost already and ordered some $1200 worth of body panels. It has a 10/23 appointment at the media blast shop so some of the structural parts have to be welded in by then.

You know what, Franks going to have Rusty on the road before Miss Agatha.

I need to replace both floors in my 63, so it will be done and back on it's wheels long before the paint job comes up. Probably replace the brake and fuel lines while I have it left side up.
Will you have your's done by 4th of July? I will be in TR for a boat show that weekend. Like to throw my eyeballs on it if possible.

Don
