PASS THE WORD !

Are you sure about the last two?
CC is for sale, not bankrupt.
BBB had a bad quarter, but made money still.
PTFS hasn't filed either afaik.

Levitz filed back in 2007, as did the owners of Hollywood Video. Sharper Image filed back in February, round about the same time as Lillian Vernon.
Linens n Things filed on May 2.

This is FUD, not news.

Actually a quick search would have pulled up this:
https://urbanlegends.about.com/od/business/a/bankruptcy.htm

Just because it's in an email, does not make it so...

alana covered it. That email is only partially true and isn't anything new. The urbanlegends and snopes both have articles about it.

There was an article in the local paper on Sunday advising that the Linens and Crap located in champaign would escape the hatchet on the first go-around.

We did just lose our Jillians (billiards, games, and food/drink)last month. It was (I think) an Ohio based chain. The Champaign hall also escaped the first cut.

Rick, your name for the linens store caught me just right. Got a good chuckle outta it, hehehehehehe (sooo true)
