Hey guys. I just wanted to introduce myself and my newly aquired 1979 MG Midget. I picked it up for a good deal and am looking forward to wrenching on it. I'll post pics later, but am wondering...What are some good resources for MG's? I know of Moss Motors. Do you guys have any words of advice? Thanks...

congrats! I just got mine a week ago so I'm flooding the spridgets forum with questions /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

as for other sources, victoriabritish.com has a good catalog, similar to mossmotors. the little british car company sells moss parts at a discount and there are a few others that i'm not remembering....

Welcome, Ian. I don't know what part of Ca. you are in, but there are some sources there for you.
MiniMania, in Nevada City has a good selection, although they tend to the A series engined cars rather than the 1500's.
APT in Riverside has some "go fast" stuff for 1500's.
Moss, Victoria British,British Parts Northwest have just about everthing you will need.

one more thing since it may not be obvious to you since you're new. There's a 'spridgets' forum if you look lower down the list, past MG on the main index. It's dedicated specifically to austin healey sprites and mg midgets. just an FYI
