Hi all! I am so glad to find a forum to share my newly
re-discovered passion.
35 years ago I sold my Sprite to pay for my 1st year of law school. I about cried.
Well, the circle has come around. This December I found another
Sprite. It's mine now.
I never forgot how much fun the ol Sprite was while in high
school and college. It's like I've found a time machine.
I've built the Sprite it's own Buggy Barn and can't wait for the warmer weather.
I live in Pumpkintown, South Carolina and one of my friends from
High School had the good sense to keep his Bugeye all these years so I have a ready to roll playmate for the Sprite.
Having this forum for info and sharing is GREAT!

Hey, don't get me started with lawyer jokes.
My favorite: What's black and tan and looks good on a lawyer?

A Doberman pincher.

See, it's that 99% of us lawyers that give the 1% a bad name.

What do you get with 99 lawyers in the bottom of a pool?

A good start.

I could go on and on but you know only a lawyer can write several pages and call it a brief.

Hi Gundy,

I sent you a PM this AM.

Regards,

Russ

Hiya Gundy! And welcome back to th' fold. Seems another second childhood is afoot there. Good lookin' machine, too!

This forum is certainly without equal onna 'net: good folk and tons of info at yer beck 'n call.

Head over to th' Spridget forum and beck away!! :jester:

...'nother lawyer, huh?

....oh well...

At least ya have good taste in automobiles.

OH! And The Pub... newbies buy th' beer.

I've already started the info begging.
Got answers too. Cheers.
I'll drop by the Pub. I'll even pull a cork on
some Pumpkintown spring water if allowed.
Wish you guys could visit my old cabin in the hills I restored.
Pre civil war mountain cabin. No power, no plumbing.
Out house works though and the well is close by.
I built the Buggy Barn for the Sprite next to it.
I call the bar at the Cabin the Jug Bar for obvious reason.
All rounds on me!

Welcome, Gundy, Good to have you here on the Forum. Lots of luck with your Bugeye!

Larry

Thanks Larry. Seems the guys/gals here are very helpful
and enjoy a good time too.

Welcome, sounds like you built a hot lil BE, I would love to see pics of the cabin.

See you in the spridget room.

Cabin with Buggy Barn
Jug Bar in Cabin. I filled my jug collection
with various "spirits". I like to say if ya wanna drink
at the Cabin ya gotta pull a cork. I put clear labels on the bottoms to keep things straight. After a pull or two it gets
hard to remember what's what.

I would love to live in a place like that, one day.

Pat

We don't live in it. I call it the Man's Cave.
It's primitive. No power no plumbing. Just like it
has always been. We tried to keep it authentic.
Just finished it this past summer. Place for the guys to
go smoke drink and generally be guys.
It's at the end of my driveway and visible from our home.
It even has a great mountain view from the front screen porch.
Wife says I screwed up putting in the potbelly stove. Now she
can throw me out even in the dead of winter.

Welcome, Gundy.

To use your terms, I guess I have a "man's cave" too, since we've got a little place on ~A Lake~ where I keep all my Brit-cars and other toys.
But mine's 25 miles from base camp.

Anyway, you'll fit right in here....and your car looks to be a neat one.

See you at the Spridgets section of BCF!
