My wife thinks that I spend too much time on the computer, so, joinin' another forum is really gonna make her happy. We both retired about a year ago in Northern California and we decided that we wanted to live someplace else. Lookin' around, we came across Northern Alabama (Lake/mountain region) and really liked it, so we sold our house in CA and moved and have been enjoyin' it ever since. We are the curators of the following;

'55 MGTF-1500
'59 MGA
'65 MGB
'70 MGB
'70 MGBGT
'64.5 Mustang Convertible
'04 Landrover
'05 F-150

Our "other" passion is flying. Don't have a set of wings at the moment but have owned four planes over the years. O'yea, we have two daughters and nine grandkids. - Cheers - Dennis

Welcome, Dennis - good to have you on board!!

Oh, I left a message on your phone - parts are here!

I invited Dennis to one of our local club meetings. He & his wife showed up in their beautiful new BMW convertible which some old guy immediately yanked the front bumper off of with his pickup. Dennis took it like the standup guy he is!

Welcome, Dennis! This is definitely NOT gonna help ya with the "time onna computer" prob, but for info and fun with the British iron, you couldn't do better than this Forum.

Hello Dennis,
I assume you are the Dennis from Sacramento who posts on the MG UK TD/TF forum. Welcome to the South. Did you move your car lift as well? How did you transport that great collection of cars?

I only just joined this site myself -- acquired an AH 3000.

Welcome to the forum, that's a great collection of cars!

Hello Dennis,
Yep, that's me. I sold both lifts before we moved from Sac. Decided they were too much trouble to move and if I decided that I needed lifts, I could always get new ones. Haven't needed them yet even thou we did add a car since we've been here. We put the TF in the moving van with our household furniture and had a car carrier transport the Mustang and the MGA. We drove the '70 MGB roadster and the '65 MGB at different times back to Alabama. Very glad that we decided to become "Southerners". Had to learn a whole new language however.

Regards - Dennis
