Hello, just a quick good day,and brief rundown of my project. After reading and admiring all of your cars,I would like to post some pics of my project. It is a 67 roadster, wire wheel RHD car that was purchased as a basket case in 1999.Since then I have stripped to bare metal inside out, repaired all rust and damage replaced floorpans front and rear aprons sealed, primed painted and undercoated myself.Rebult a newer(1972) engine along with original trans, rebuilt all brake and suspension components, rewired car(could not find RHD harness) just finishing installing covers on seats and building interior panels.I am building it for my father as a retirement gift/suprise to him for everything he has done for me and my family.Last time he saw it was bare shell, sitting in the corner of my friends shop covered with parts from other cars ! Boy will he be suprised,I am giving it to him as a suprise this weekend at our local car show.More pics as I get the interior done and final cut and buff before I hand over the keys,I hope he likes it ! Thank you for all the inspiration, after seeing what you can do,I feel I did as good as I could and hope he will enjoy it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Looking good! And, I admire what you're doing for your dad - you are a good son!

What a great gift, and what a great car. Not only that, but the gift of the time spent with your sone in doing this project will be treasured many years from now.
