Six PM (1800 local), had the annual New Year's Day operating marathon and feed. I was out with the shop vac cleaning the recent accumulations ay 0915....first help showed at 1115 (after working into the dark last night). Ran trains, ate ourselves silly, put it all away, now I get to sit. Probably 25 folks all in all, maybe a tad more. BUSY!
I'm getting too old for this carp.

Did most of nothing today. Hung out on the sofa and watched Fat Albert marathon, goofed around with Kelly, (we both danced like idiots to the theme music from Fat Albert), Kelly and I played with the dogs together and we all pigged out on whatever was in the fridge. All watching TV again right now.

Here's to 2012

:iagree:

We went to visit friends, ate waay too much, good company and enjoyed the afternoon. Back to the hovel by 2000.

Now enjoyin' a CAB and catchin' up on what all yins been up to.

keeping a very low profile - I've been fighting a cold since - last year. hopefully the worst has past.

Slept in after my gig last night (good show, nothing like playing in the new year). Fixed the brakes on the FJ40 and took a short spin to test everything out.

Off work Monday (though we have a private party gig) then back to the grind on Tuesday.

Slept in late, visited my parents and had Spaghetti and meatballs, played some Farkle, and just finished watching Cars 2. Beddy bye time soon.

Had our Christmas dinner tonight with a nice bottle of Sangiovese
