New wheels

Looks great! Are you going to install center caps? I have some on mine, but they are not very attractive. I think I may just remove them.

Yes, they came with nice chrome centers, but they sent MG decals with them. They are sending some generic blue decals with the union jack that will look nice.

My centers are cheap plastic, and stick out too far. So are yous centers made of brass, potmetal, or ???

Those look excellent! I'm tempted to put them on my BE but there's something about the old-fashioned look of the originals.

Very nice, I never put the center caps on mine, felt it took away from them.

Oh, matching blue, very nice. Look very good.

Thanks everyone . The color is not a Sprite color, but I wanted something in a British color no one else had. It is actually a '76 Triumph TR6 color- Deft Blue. I painted the Sprite in 1985 and it still looks decent. The MGB color is orignal '73 Teal Blue. They are similar but the MG has more green tint.
Ben, send me a PM and tell me more about the show this weekend. I saw your BE and would like to see it in person sometime.
Trevor, my centers are chromed plastic but they are not very tall. I'll post a photo later. I think I got a good deal on the wheels. Less than $125 each including nuts, caps and shipping from the UK. Quite a bit less than Moss gets for the all silver version.

Not a bad price. I think that is about what I paid for "Minators" 3 years ago from a Moss distributor. I think I might try a set of "Superlights" on my Sprite (once it is road worthy).

Very nice. Are those panasport wheels?

I have the very same wheels but for an MGB. They came with the chrome plastic, shallow caps. Because of the large axle nut sticking out of the rear wheel center, I had to order another set of caps only deeper. Also chrome plastic but I painted them with black wrinkle paint and they look so much better. Anybody need a set of shallow chrome plastic wheel caps with the blue MWS racing logo to fit B wheels?

They are not Panasports, but they look very similar. The casting quality and finish is top notch. They say MWS Racing, but I do not see any country of origin sticker or other markings. I bought them from Watford Classic Cars in the UK. They sell the all painted version as well as a Charcoal with a polished rim. They list items on eBay under "mgbreakers" as the seller. Really nice people to deal with. If they hold up well, I may get a set for my MGB.
