Brought it home yesterday - here's a picture.

The TR3 will be available soon - won't be cheap! If anyone's interested, send me a PM or email.

soon we wedgies will rule the world

Cool! Looks great.

We all are getting in on the wedge craze at "the ground floor." When everyone else catches up, we'll be wondering why people are paying so much for 7s and 8s when they could have bought such great cars for so little money now.

Nice looking car Mickey, I like the wing. The TR7/8 is such a clean, modern looking design, even by todays standards, that one of those "rice wings" looks right at home there.

Maybe I should use this argument on my wife to justify getting that coupe now.

Thanks, Sam. But, as always with pictures, in person it looks a little tired. After all, it's 25 years old! The main problem it has suffered is neglect, since it apparently has been sleeping a good long while. The best news is that it's all there, and pretty much all original. Lots of work ahead - as soon as I finish the B!

Scott - Not sure I'm going to keep the wing. Any other opinions?

The cheese wedge styling is getting more popular, I realize this, but they still look ugly to me. Mickey about how much will ya be letting the 3 go for?

Walter - haven't set the price yet, as I want to check around to see where the market is.

Will post it in the Classified section asap.

Nice look car Mickey. What made you get this. How did the car show go.

Don

Hey, Don -

I've been thinking about one of these for a long time. Then seeing them at VTR began to seal it for me. I've enjoyed the TR3 for several years, but have really wanted more of a "cruiser" to play with. Having a "show car" is nice, but not a luxury that I feel I can justify any longer.

Didn't make the show - had something come up that nixed it. Haven't heard how many were there.

The thing that people often don't realize about the wedges is just how comfortable they are. Picture the MGB with better seats.

Great cars,7s and 8s,great value too.Been saying so for a long time. They look better now than ever, conv'ts.Comfort, performance, handling, ideal for an older body{mine}.I believe people are starting to come around to this fact.I have a 1980 TR7 and TR8.I like them both alot and altho the 8 is faster, it just wont rev like my 7,great fun.
