Great!!!!!
VW has done humorous ads right from their start in the US. They knew no one would take the Beetle seriously, so they decided to start picking on themselves first. I'm glad the tradition has held up.
 
Oh great... now I'll have exiting rainbows on my mind for a day. :wink-new:
 
Other than the urinal screen shot this one left me flat - I suspect, in part, because my experience didn't match the promise - my Passat choked up with oil sludge long before the 100k. Seems to me as more of a "yeah whatever" commercial.

That has more to do with the oil used and change interval than anything else. Betcha it was Quaker State or Pennzoil...

True though I have to say, while it was a blast to drive, the build quality sucked big time.
 
We used a Passat for 24 Hours of Lemons racing. It wasn't even really that good for that.

The commercial was pretty funny but I preferred the old print ads they did when VWs were air-cooled.
