New uprated spindles and Wildwood calipers

well I got the old spindles out the new up rated once installed, new bearings and calipers Pics are of old spindles and new ones,

now all I have to do is put the 7/8 rear wheel cylinders on, I have never messed with the rear wheel cylinders and I got the first one off and those steel shims and spacers are a bear to get off, I got the book out and doesnt give much detail on putting them back together

I don't recall who it was but a bcfer posted some pictures of the assembly order.

Excellent reference, I've used it a couple times. Hopefully someone will chime in or you might have luck with a search.

Good looking work by the way. I've been thinking about those axles ever since Uncle Jack came up with them.

well I got the new wheel cylinders on, MAN what a PITA! Thats about the craziest securing system I have seen and fooled with and that last securing clip. how the heck are you suppose to get it off and back on without bending it?

guess those pieces are expendable, best order some new ones

now to bleed the backs and wheels back on

You've worked it already, but the small clips with the turned up ends are actually not the last pieces on - the middle wedge piece is. Sorry I didn't have the reference shots for that, I always hated messing with them but now that I read up that trick it has gotten easier.
 
well I guess thats something you learn from someone, the bently manual basically says to intstall them from in to out, and not the inner one the outer one and the center one last, but guess I will try that next time But seems I had a leak in the rear brakes, one of the brake lines was not tight enough and the PDWA got pushed to one side so now I got to get it recentered and the sticking a nail
in the PDWA and moving the plunger, no go

It doesn't look like you have the double-beveled nuts that are supposed to be used with TR wire wheel adapters?

well yesterday afternoon I got my PDWA recentered, basically the book says, start engine, loosen the bleeder valve on one of the brake circuits that was not leaking, which in my case was the front, gradually push the brake peddle down till the PDWA warning lamp goes out, tighten the bleeder valve and press on the brake peddle and if the lamp stays out your are good to go. worked like a champ. Well at least I know the system works

now to drive and test the new brakes, maybe this week!
