New Triumph Owner

Hello everyone. I just became a new Triumph Spitfire 1500 owner this week. I pick up my car on Saturday and I can't wait to take it for a spin. That is assuming the thrust washers haven't fallen out! The previous owner seems to have taken good care of it so fingers crossed.

I owned a TR7 way back when I was a teen. It was a work in progress but I really liked that car. But university bills came along and I had to sell it before I was done with it. Well now almost 30 years later I saw this one for sale on Facebook and it was only 4 hours away. I made and offer, he countered and I sent him the money with out ever seeing the car in person. So I guess no matter what shape its in, it's mine now. He says I can drive it home as he's driven it lately. Like I say before I just jump in an go I'll check the thrust washers. I have a car trailer just in case.

Here are a few pictures. The body could be mostly bondo but I don't care. I just want my chick magnet, even if the only "chick" I get is my smoken hot wife!
