Hello All...

I picked up this lovely little 1962 TR4 last summer. It has been owned/restored by a good friend of mine in Colorado for the past 20 years. He wanted to move on to other things, so I was very fortunate to pick this one up from him. It now lives in Minnesota, splitting time between the Cities (where I live) and up in the Brainerd Lakes area (where my parents spend their summers). It's a blast to drive, my kids love it, and it's always a conversation starter.

As I was doing my post-winter storage inspection, fluids changes, lube, and bolt-tightening, I noticed a crack in one of the fan blades, so the car is currently not being driven as I await parts delivery from Victoria British. I am very glad that the fan blade did not give way while at speed, slicing through assorted hoses and other soft bits.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being part of this forum for ongoing advice and conversation.

Welcome to the BCF Moneypenny,

I see that there is still snow at times in the Mini-Apple.

You have found the best source for discussion about LBCs on the internet. Be sure to drop in to the Triumph page, and maybe join the crowd at the Pub when you get the chance as well.

Enjoy the ride.

absolutely lovely! one of my favourite shapes - welcome!

That is a lovely little TR! (In my best Scottish accent) "Welcome to the British Car Forum, Moneypenny!"
