Hello all!
I just wanted to introduce myself and my "new to me" 1972 TR6.
I've never owned, driven or otherwise been involved with a TR6 before.
Most of the parts are with the car. I'm sure there will be plenty of things I will have to source as the rebuild progresses (I have only found 1 trunk hinge for example) but i am looking forward to getting started. It will be a lot of work but I believe it will be a lot of fun too.
I have rebuilt several AC VW's and my father and I have rebuilt a few cars together (47 Willys, 63 Corvette to name a couple) but this one is all me..well he has already been down to poke around on it and I have only had it in the garage for a couple of days.
I'm looking forward to getting started and wanted to thank everyone in advance for all the help, insight and knowledge.

Good morning Crash, and welcome to the BCF.

You will find lots of great help in this group. Please be sure to also introduce yourself in the Triumph section of this group at https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/forumdisplay.php?18-Triumph as the people there will become your new best friends. It looks like you will be busy for a while with your project. Be sure to post photos of your project from time to time, and after a garage session, be sure to visit "The Pub" for some fun conversation.

Enjoy the ride.

Welcome from just down the road from you in Townsend!

As Dave said, this is the place. Looks like you have your hands full, but there's plenty of help here. We look forward to seeing your progress. And if you're in the area, coffee's usually on, or quickly at hand.

Mickey

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!
Townsend is maybe an hour and a half..depending on traffic if you go through G-Burg and Pigeon Forge.
I will definitely keep everyone posted but it will also be slow going.
Thanks again.

Welcome aboard! TR6's rock! I see Mickey has already warned you that he is just down the road :highly_amused:
