New TR6 owner from The Netherlands

Hello to all fellow BC-admirers. My name is Job, aka The Jobster, and living in The Netherlands, working in Amsterdam (no, not in "THAT" business). After longing for quite a while to own and drive a TR6, plunged right in and bought a 1973 TR6 PI off an old guy claiming back pains and being no longer able to step in or out of the car. Well, time will tell if this was the only issue for selling this very very well restored car, (approx. 7 years ago). Came across this site ...., uh, don't know, most likely google. Biggest overall problem is that I only have a carbox for storing the car, without electricity. Is going to be a challenge....
Just had 4 new tires slipped on but most likely the bushing need replacing as well, and oh well, will probably change the shocks and springs while I am at it. Tinster is my man for providing a "fools guide" to changing them. Off we go, hopefully adding information instead of asking. The latter would mean that I bought a lousy car after all.

Welcome!
We have several other members for your country and lots of TR6 owners from all over the world.
Best wishes with your new car!

Welcome, Job - I've spent lots of time in the Netherlands....maybe we'll get together on my next trip (no, not on that street either!)
