Hi All!
Just joined a short while ago and this is my first post. I just bought a new TR3A. I've wanted a TR3 for years and finally got one! This is my fourth Brit car. My first car that I bought (even before I had my learners permit) was a '74 Triumph Spifire 1500, my second car was a '73 Triumph GT6 MK3. That car was my only means of tranportation for about 6 years in the '80s. I drove it all thru college. My thrird car was (is) a '68 Jaguar E-TYpe OTS. I drove it for a short while before I started a ground up restoration on it. I bought a new body shell for it from Martin Robey in England. The Jag is for sale now BTW, I haven't worked on it in about 6 years and have come to the conclusion it's time to sell it on to somebody who does have the time to complete it.

My fourth car is a 1960 Triumph TR3A. Body is in great shape no rust and the electrics all work! I just finished getting it registered and inspected today. So far I've only put 37 miles on it, but hope to put a lot more in the next few months before I have to put it up for the winter!

Welcome! Looks like you got a nice TR.

And I'm sure all ears/eyes are waiting to hear/see the price and details on the E-type!

I think I'll probably post an ad in the classifieds once I get a picture of it. The shell is all finished and pretty much ready for paint. The list of new parts is a very long one, basicily I went all out, New front frames and picture frame, new leather seat covers(tan), new major interior kit, new cloth top, new wiring harness, new seats, new bushings and bearings for front and rear ends, new shocks, new springs, new torsion bars, etc...

Hi There Number_6;

I am looking forward to a few days at the Providence Biltmore at the end of the month. Beautiful area to live.

Enjoy the Ride!

Welcome to our little club.

Welcome aboard from another E-Type owner. I am doing a ground up restoration also, and yes it is taking years, but I don't care! I've owned teh car for over 25 years and plan to drive it one day again!

That's a really nice little TR3 you have there - That is one of my favorite LBCs. I love the low-slung doors!
