Hi Everyone

I hail from the Boston area and live in the suburb of South Hamilton. We bought a house here because it had an attached 4 car heated garage with full bath and a stable that can be converted to hold more horse power. Oh and there is room for a trailer. My husband races a vintage XK 120 Jag and is getting pretty good at it. We start racing again at Limerock the end of April.

We are members of the Jaguar Assoc. of New England. At our second time going to the Jaguar festival were tricked by the concours chaoir and another member into running it for the next year. That was 3 years ago. We have had a great time running this event and will do it till we are told to take a hike.

Jaguar Festival of New England

My 1995 Rose Bronze XJS took first prize in the XJS division at the Stow British Invasion 3 years ago. I was completely surprized and delighted.

I am hoping to meet people who like myself love british cars. My slogan for our Jag club is " A social club with a car problem"

I believe I saw your XJS during the "parade" of winners; nice win!!
Welcome to the forum, the next step for you is too post some pics and introduce yourself in the Jaguar section. Oh...especially pics of the XK120.
I wonder when -if ever- the Jag clubs will consider the post 1960 Daimlers just another model of Jag. :square:

Jagophile,

Welcome to a charming group of nuts.

The group agrees on one thing: pictures are irresistible, kind of like the Angels in baseball - oops you might be a Red Sox fan. Anyway, the forum is the best I have found.

Hope you enjoy your time here.

Cheers,

PS Don't forget to hit the pub, every now and again.

:savewave: Welcome from a former Massachusettsite? Never did know what to call myself - certainly not Bostonian.

Welcome aboard! I'll second the suggestion that you introduce yourself to the Jaguar board. Good bunch of guys there! The Pub is a general hang-out where our socialising is done. Good to have you here!

Hello, Jagophile, and welcome to the Forum!

Hi There jagophile,

"Welcome", Yourself and I already did "Welcome" your Hubby.

I`m a Jag lover myself. I`ve owned a XK140 Rdstr and several E-Type Rdstrs. Surely the E-Type is my all time "Favorite". Un-Fortunately, The cost of those little buggers has gone thru the roof. But, Maybe one of these days?

Wishing You and Your Hubby enjoy this great forum as I`m sure You will.

Regards from NE PA.
