I'm new to the Forum but not to Healeys. On my fourth and presently own a 1960 Bugeye (1275, Datsun 5 speed conversion, front disks, factory hardtop) Am completing the final restoration on a factory spec 1956 100M - nothing fancy, just want to drive it. Located in Pittsburgh.

Michael - welcome to BCF. And congrats on the 100M.

I like your phrase "nothing fancy - just want to drive it".

Definitely a good philosophy!

Michael -

Welcome in. There's a huge supportive group of AH enthusiasts here. If you ever need to get an answer on anything, someone will have an it for you. I have the the Schenley Park vintage races on my Bucket List and would like to make a summer of racing in the East and Mid-west after retirement. So some time in 2025......

Welcome! I've been at the PVGP at Shenley for the last few years.

If you are near, stop by and say hello to #909.

Here's a video shot from my Sprite

Hey Michael,
Just saw this, better late than never ! You'll love the BCF and great bunch of people on it and very, very helpful. Like you, I drive my 100M everywhere I can, weather permitting. Try to keep the old gal out of the rain if possible. Think most of us on BCF are in the group that believe in driving our Healey's as opposed to keeping trailer queens !
Regards,
Mike

Thanks all for the kind welcomes. I'll watch out for #909 at the Pittsburgh Grand Prix. For anyone else that might be at the Grand Prix, I have three Patron Parking spots on the course on Sunday, spaces LC28 through LC30. Any and all are welcome to stop by for drink and food in the shade. Don't expect that I'll have the 100M in shape by then but look for the white Bugeye.

Welcome. My 100M, Agatha, is a driver as well. We're a pretty good group here.

Thanks. Other AH forums in which I tried to participate were very unfriendly towards newcomers and novice questions. Very much appreciated personally and a key to the future of our hobby.

Amen!

We don't allow unfriendliness here. Anyone engaging in unfriendliness will be visited in the small hours and have a bat put up their night dress.
