Hello everyone! I recently purchased a modified 1956 Austin Healey 100 from California. It has a Chevy 350 with a Muncie 4 speed. Does this forum accept modified cars?

Welcome to the BCF aero3113! I think we're pretty open-minded around here, and we welcome you and encourage you to read and post in the Austin-Healey Forum (where I moderate) and anywhere else in the BCF for that matter.

Such engine swaps were common at one time and today there is even a "club" for them called the "Nasty Boys." It's actually a chapter of the Austin-Healey Club of America. By the way, as editor of the national Healey club's magazine, I published a cover feature on a 100 with an engine swap a few issues ago, so rest assured that your Healey is still considered a British car and very much welcomed at club events.

You might want to contact Russ Keep, the guy who coordinates the Nasty Boys Registry. You're not alone with your hot rod Healey! Tell him Reid sent you.

Enjoy your beast! (And I mean that in the kindest possible way.)

Isn't there a song about a hot rot Healey? If not, there should be. Welcome aboard!

Welcome, indeed!

And if you haven't already, check out www.BritishV8.org. Lots of info on conversions there.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I joined BritishV8 also but it doesn't seem as busy as this forum.

I tried to post a video but it doesn't seem to be uploading. What am I doing wrong??
