Hi....and thank you for letting me join. I have been a millwright, and an automobile tech most of my life, and spent the last 8 years, before I got permanently disabled at a steel mill, as a casting machine maintenance manager. Regards...Mike

I foolishly sold my XKE roadster in 82 for $1800, because it was just an old car, and I wanted a TR8........FOOL!! So the XK8 became an XKE over time....LOL

I sold my 67 XKE Coupe in 72 when I joined the Air Force (for $3000) and kicked myself ever since. It wasn't until 1981 that I was able to replace it with a 67 XKE roadster, which I still have.
