Here are the new seats!! Pretty nice kit old Moss sells--easy too! Got them done in only a few hours.

Man, saved a bunch of money through Tony. Thanks Tony!

And thanks for the spacers Mike. They worked perfectly!

And of course, thanks for the tech advice Jack!

Is there anyone I left out? I want to thank my family for being so supportive.... I'm ready for that Oscar, I think.

Oh, and a pic of Hap's carbs. Been meaning to post a recent pic of those. Man they work great!

It is great how many connections I have made on here!

Nice work Boz!

Any tips or tricks to pass along regarding fitting the Moss seat kit? Did you replace the foam as well?

I guessing the #3 needles worked out good then, good to know. Looking good, what kind of air filters are you going to run, foam socks?

I replaced everything. The foam kit they sell is really nice. Once you get everything laid out it makes sense. It comes with a wool type material for the back and the horse hair padding for the front.

But if you are a big guy and need a bit more leg room you can leave out the horse hair.

Looking good Boz, I see the belts arrived finaly.

Looks great man!!!

I love the red seats with white piping... very classic!

True, true Jack. Yeah, I actually got the belts on the same day as the seat kits. All is coming along nicely. I figure it should be finished, (but driving and playing before,) just in time for the Ozarks.

Thanks John. Wish I had the carpet and panels in place, but that will have to wait until after it is painted.

What kind of belts are those? They look very period looking and great.

They are from Moss. This was probably the best order I have every gotten from Moss. SOme of the stuff that I have received, I wasn't too excited about. All of stuff that I got with the seat order was how I imagined. Even the seat belts look period. Pretty cool.

Looks real nice. I think the float covers maybe reversed, front should supply rear carb. I am just having some fuel supply issues here, so am very close to this topic.

Any mods on these carbs, squared off, epoxy ramps etc.

Looks great, love the seats and belts as well.

Patrick

Thanks Patrick. They are reversed, but work just fine. I'm not worried about them. I might change them someday, if something else is needed at the time. I had Hap rebuild these. Get with him about the specifics.

That all looks really fantastic, Barry! I agree with Patrick though about the bowl covers. It would look nicer the right way, and you would have the carb-to-carb fuel line running behind the dash-pots instead of on top of those pretty velocity stacks! Your fuel delivery line would be shorter too, and more isolated from exhaust manifold heat going to the front carb!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

That makes sense. The change might come sooner than I thought then! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

It is really no biggie to do, you could do it in a few minutes! You have all the parts, and will have hose left over!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
