New project, triple carbs, micropolished complete

Re: New project, triple carbs, micropolished compl

Dale,

The question isn't if Jeff does good work, he does excellent work. Our point is that Richard Goods solution for the triple carb linkage consists of bending and cutting the the stock components. The resulting setup works but it's very sloppy and in the case of Bill and myself, the inability to achieve full throttle.

Re: New project, triple carbs, micropolished compl

I spoke to Jeff at Paltech and he is aware of the shortcomings of the linkage and the weak points that exist in the folded couplers. He is working on a solution that will be incorporated into my setup. I will be doing a pictorial, which I'll post here, 6-Pack and on my website as a start to finish project that will include pictures of the rebuilding process and the new linkage modification.

After getting everything together and testing it out, I'll decide whether I need the Ratco. If so, I'll get it, but maybe this will cure the ills that seem to exist.
