Just into stock is a replacement plastic fan for the factory metal fan found on MGA and early MGB.

That's a great addition, Shawn!

Interesting!

Steel sleeves and no pesky rubber grommets to deteriorate and make a sound like rod bearing failure?

Good to know. I've still got the original 3-bladed metal fan on my '70.

Was this type fan installed at the factory or were the factory ones all metal? Looks like something I may be interested in for my 64 MGB

The '64 had the metal fan for certain, Naomi.

Then the new plastic one mentioned won't fit my 64B ?? I was hoping for an upgrade. Thanks so much for the reply

It'll fit. Great upgrade, too.

Hey thanks a bunch and I'll order today. Do I need to order any additional parts other than just the fan

You should be OK with just the fan blade. Be sure the bolts are in good shape, and use either lock washers or Loctite. Also, make sure the blade is oriented properly when you install it.
