I ordered new rubber boots for the front turn lights from Moss, they arrived in a timely manner and for all intent and purposes looked exactly like the originals with the exception of bieng clean and NOT ripped. The lenses and trim rings fit perfectly. I also ordered the rear License plate/brake light assembly it too looks to be Acceptable {other than I don`t remember it bieng that small} but maybe it was/is. Now If the parklight bulb holders would just arrive from Julian Holden co. in the U.K. I`ll be set for all the lights to be installed.

Repro or original NOS Lucas? Is it the 525 lamp? They're roughly the same size as the ubiquitous L467 chrome license plate lamp used on 3As and later. Specifically, the 525 is about 4.5" wide at its widest (on the bottom).

I`m sure its a repro. And yea it is about the same size as the chrome license plate light on the later model Tr`s. Plastic lense {My original one was glass!} Where did the original one go you might ask, dont! It will only bring up a Very diffacult subject to discuss or disgust {take your chioce.}

Original lens was glass? Wow! I'd have to look the 525 lamp up in my Lucas Master Catalogue, but I don't think I've ever seen one of those with a glass lens. AFAIK, for many, many years the replacement lens sold by Lucas has been plastic, and a plastic lens is what's on what is left of a '56 TR3 parts car I have. (Gee, I hope I haven't made any discussion or disgustion about the original on your car any more painful for you....)
