Greetings fellow British car lovers, my names is Rob. I'm in possession of a 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Bj8.
I've owned this car for some time now, in fact over 10 years and have been lurking back here on the forum until I found a bit more time attempt a light restoration. This Healey has always been a reliable, fun and exiting car to own and to date has not done anything odd to help me change my opinion.
I now find myself with a little more time these days and have decided to attend to a few issues that have arisen firstly around the operation of the convertible top.
So my first job will be to fix the roof that's already on it and failing that Ill be searching throughout the forums for pictures and information to help me to find and fit a new roof to the car if I can?

I remember when I first retired, how good it felt to mess around with wrenches and grease, after 30 years of teaching and computer network management. What a relief!
