New old license plates

Last week I was at a flea market and bought something for my Sprite. A dealer had the back end of a pickup truck filled with old license plates. In looking through his assortment I was able to find and buy a set of 1962 plates. In anticipation of being able to drive my car again several months ago I went to the BMV and received a set of Historical Plates. Now those plates are stashed in my trunk. Ohio has a deal in which I can display one license for the year of manufacture of the car on the rear of the car. On the front I now have an original license plate from when I bought the car. A mechanic at Donald Healey's dealership made the license plates when I bought the car. It is simply plastic numbers and letters with studs through the metal and melted blobs of plastic on the rear. It is a great feeling to be able to display one of those plates now. In my video the British plate shows up briefly in one of my loops around my driveway. I will be posting photos showing both plates on my Webshots in a couple of days.
