Hello to all. My name is Robert and I live in Northern CA north of Sacramento.

I'm 48 and my first car was a Nash Metropolitan.

I've been in and out of English cars all of my life. MGB's are my interest. I currently own a '72 GT that is having a total engine rebuild. I have a '70 GT for parts that the overdrive is out and ready. Motor should be ready in a week. Can't wait!!!

Anybody on this forum in the Chico/Redding area?

Welcome to the forum! You'll love this place! Terri

Chico? Isn't that where you find Velveeta in the gourmet foods section? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Or was that Cheez Whiz?

Welcome in, Rob. Grab a seat and enjoy the ride.

Welcome Robert,

You have joined an interesting group here. And it already sounds like you will fit in. I have never visited Chico, but I used to send a lot of film to the Lifetouch plant there when I was still semi-productive.

Enjoy the Ride.

Welcome Robert!

Our family car in the 1950s was a Nash Rambler wagon. And my first classic Brit was a 1955 Jaguar Mark VII saloon. Instrument panel had ultraviolet lighting; my girlfriend of the moment called them "purple passion lights".

Dave - at least you're *semi-productive*. Now I only harvest carrots and muck out the cow pen!

And the last time I saw Chico, he was standing between Harpo and Zeppo.
