Finally got the 3 off the jack stands and I can see that they must have got the leaves arced correctly because the ride height appears correct in that the back end does not sit too high. Also a world of difference in the ride along with the new shocks. Now I can take the corners like Juan Miguel Fangio.:eagerness:
 
Was that Juan Manuel's father or son?? :highly_amused:

Cool, I've got a set from Moss that I haven't put on yet. Maybe at the end of the driving season.
 
Careful there, Fangio. My racing buddy rolled a TR3 at Lime Rock in 1957. The car was mine. Both car and driver survived and he's now a driving instructor at Sebring at age 82. Go figure.

I hear you. I wont push it beyond it's limits. Glad to hear your buddy survived. Was the car repairable? Oddly enough I removed the roll bar when I recently installed a fiberglass driver's side floor. I took the roll bar out because I wanted to gain a few inches of leg room by mounting the seat back farther and the bar was in the way. If I do reinstall the bar at some point I'll make sure it's fastened to the frame. The way it was set up before it just mounted to the floorboards!
Another thing I liked about the rollbar was that you could mount a 3rd 12" long Led flashing brake light on it so the semi trailer and 4x4 drivers could see you when you braked.:smile-new:
