New Midget in the stable

1973 RWA with a few mods. This car is a completely different breed from the MGBGTs I'm used to. Shifting with the left hand was surprisingly easy to learn.

Nice looking car!

Looks like it was converted to RHD, rather than imported.
Any ideas what the motive was?

Nice to see a good-looking one with the sterring wheel on the right (correct) side!

I can speculate about the motive. The stated reason is that he (previous owner) is left-handed. I suspect that he wanted to make it a little more "tweedy" while he was at it.
He did a good job of it. He restores Jags for a living.

Nice ride indeed.

David - good score...if you want, when I go to the UK this summer I'll try to find a dash for you

Cosmic rims w/ 175-70 Continental tires

Other stuff you can't see:
P/P head, new steering rack, 3/4" anti-sway bar, rebuilt front suspension, rebuilt engine (2000 miles ago), rebuilt trans, lightened flywheel

Tony - Thanks for the offer. I'm still getting used to it. Haven't decided yet just where I'm going with it.
When I loaded it, the idea was for it to be a driver only. However, on the long trip back, things started popping into my head.

Did you notice the radiator? And the throttle cable?

I did & I immediately thought that radiator was perfect for a V6 - maybe the GRM car? Or, sell that engine & V6 the litle Midget!

David, glad you were able to get that one. I would have bought it myself if I hadn't just bought the BGT. You should have let me know you were going to be in the area. I could have helped you load it up and it would have been great to meet you.

James - yep I probably should have given you a head's up.
And a big Thanks for the tip!
We spent some time rummaging around in Tommy's storage shed, picking out extra Midget stuff. Plus a complete A/C unit (including new compressor) for a B.
He's got a some nice cars there in the shop. The Jag with the front clip off of it made me realize just how BIG those V12s are.
