Hello people

I own a '62 RR Silver Cloud and while I don't see a specific Rolls Royce section, some issues and obstacles are the same not matter what the make.... you've rebuilt one SU, you rebuilt them all... right?:wink-new:

I'm hoping to find other British car owners that may live in Nebraska, Iowa... or there-abouts. I do belong to the RROC and find it invaluable for information related to the care and feeding of a Rolls. It would be nice to find some British car events closer to home, talk shop. or trade Lucas jokes...

I look forward to meeting all of you.

Cheers,
Bob

Welcome! If we ever get more than a handful of RR members here we'd be thrilled to start a separate forum. For now, "Other British" will have to do. Do you have any pictures?

here she is... had to do quite a bit of work to her... strip to bare metal/repainted.. rebuilt the brake system(except the servo), added AC, aux fan, Plus the normal stuff that gets ignored... belts, hoses, ignition parts ,etc... but now runs like a dream. Oh BTW s very british... she a right -hand drive ;)

Thanks Dave, I look forward to hanging out, learning and hopefully contributing. "Miss Mary" is my third british car, at one time I had a 79 MGB (my son wrecked) and an MGC (that was a basket case, and my wife made me get rid of it). Some day I like to get my hands on an MGA that need a little TLC

I've seen "LBC" several times... a new one on me, what does it mean?... the Rolls Royce/Bentley people refer their cars (tongue in cheek) as PMCs - Proper Motor Car

Welcome to the Forum! LBC = little british car

Welcome aboard Bob, that is a beautiful Rolls you have.

Thanks Walter...

That's quite the stable you have. I love cars from the '60s.. I also have a '62 Chrysler, but my next one will be a LBC. I do miss my little MG in the summer

A late but none-the-less enthusiastic "Welcome!" Bob!

...and I kinda know that Rolls. Not that specific car but I've wrenched on and restored a few of 'em. Bentleys as well.

My MGB with her "cousins":

Looks like you have a few my Cloud II "sisters" there.. on the left a Cloud I or II, and next to it a Cloud III
