MGB New MGBLE, never titled, no miles....

Yep, one exists. I have posted this over on my side of the fence before because the dealership actually owns 2 1976 TR6's as well as the last of the B's (would that be an 81 or 82). I always get a kick out of talking about these cars. They are owned by Paretti Imports in Metairie, LA (suburb of New Orleans) and are not for sale. I know that they used to be on display because I would go slobber all over them, but for the last several years they have been in storage in climate controlled storage over in Baton Rouge. What would the MG be worth. I do know that it is loaded, black. Good conversation piece. If any of you think you can be persuasive enough, good luck. I don't think they can be bought but you never know....

Hmmm... if it was never titled, that would mean it could be a 2006 model - hehehehehehe.

Oh, and the last MGB rolled off the assembly line in october 1980 when the factory closed. Any car listed as an 81 or 82 model is really an 80 that was titled in the following years because it hadn't sold the year before.

there was a similar LE on ebay a while back, claimed 54 original miles, never titled. Looked really good in the pics. The buy it now was $22,500. If I had won the lottery, I'd have flown to Florida to look at it

Its a car that's need lots of work to make it roadworthy - hydraulics, brakes, hoses, etc. - & then when you put it on the road & added miles to the odometer, it'd be just another low mileage MGB....so, IMHO, its just another LE! Not worth any more than any other LE - unless you've got more money than brains....sorry for being so blunt.

I guess if you had more money than brains, you could buy it and make a really unique coffee table out of it. What a great conversation piece! Like the guy in California that hung a Lamborghini from his den wall, and made the engine into that coffee table.

Now if it were one of the two TR6's, I would make an altar out of it.......or is that sacreligious.

If I won the lottery I would have more money than brains, which is unfortunatley not the case. and I could have been the original owner.
