Hi everyone, just to introduce myself. I am Dave Else from Auckland New Zealand cuurently driving a Jaguar Mk II 1961 3.4 manual with overdrive which I have just restored..

Good to be here.

Greetings Dave,
Welcome to the forum. You will discover that there are many of us with saloons as well.
Feel free to jump in any time with comments and advice. Having done a restoration, you too have "been there -- done that" and you can add a wealth of information.

Welcome Dave,

You own what I consider to be one of the worlds best sports cars. I can only dream of such things. Missed you in the chat forum. Drop in again.

Welcome Dave. As another member stated there are a lot of us with saloons. My MK1 just turned 45 years old with 110,000 miles on the original engine etc. It is a joy to drive and cruises down the freeway all day long. It will pass anything on the road except maybe a Dodge Viper! At reasonable speeds it gets 20-21 miles per gallon and likes also to go on side roads with lots of curves. Enjoy the site which is the best on the WWW......Mark /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif
