I've been around sports car stuff since 1955 when my Uncle and Dad started running with the Penn Ohio Sports Car Club in Youngstown Ohio. I've competed from the local club level up through SCCA and then on to Vintage. I and Roger Williams fleshed out the rules for the Spec Sprite class and I'm the #2 Competition member of CVAR. I've owned 2 big Healeys and several Sprites.

Welcome!

I've run into folks who know Roger (mostly at east-coast vintage races). One of our most active guys here bought a Bugeye from Roger (and restored it).

I've run the Pittsburgh Vintage at BeaveRun a bunch of times....guess that's near your old stomping grouds.

:savewave:Welcome to the Forum!

Welcome!!

You will surely know a TON of folk from our area then: Steel Cities Region, back inna '60's & '70's.

The Ledges was the "local" track then. Now BeaveRun is within a few hundred yards of my childhood home... may be a "good thing" it wasn't there when I was growing up. :smirk:

Hi There poland,

What nationality are you? Polish by any chance? I`m "Ukranian", close enough to have conversation in most any slavic language.

"Welcome" and enjoy the ride here.

Regards, Russ

No bet, Dale!!! Your guess is heavily weighted by "local knowledge".

BTW: I was born in New Castle. Jameson Memorial. The entire area is what I consider "Native Stompin' Grounds". :smirk:

...and I was a "townie" of G-O-T-L...
