Hi, new member here from Markam, Ontario.

Currently restoring a 66 MGB-GT.

After about 4 years and a few thousand in parts, the car is almost ready for paint (new floors, sills, quarter, trunk floor, front and rear valances, new fenders, new rear spring mounts ...).

The car probably should have been parted out, but my father bought it new in '66 and other that a couple of years when when it was sold then bought back has been in the family since.

I refurbished it a little and drove it for a few years in the early 80's then it sat waiting for me to have the time and resources to properly restore it.

Currently looking for a shop to paint it in the Markham Ontario area. Have had 1 quick quote for $4000, which seems a little higher than I hoped, but is from a good shop.

Welcome - a '66 GT? WOW!! Do you have the VIN?

Welcome...Ontarionian here! Let me know where you choose to get it painted, and how it turns out. I am going to need a painter for my TC in a few years.

YEP! A true '66 GT! That's quite a find!
