It must have been back in the 60's that I went to our local yearly "Fair" one day and just after entering the fair grounds there were 2 or 3 car dealership displays, one of which had a display of MG's. I still remember thinking these must be some of the first ones in Canada or at least Ontario and our area. I sat in one for a while and thought how nice it was.
I took an automotive course in high school and have always like to thinker around with cars, motors, etc.
About 12 years ago I purchased 2 MG Midgets, 1 a 1967 and the other a 1973. Looking at the 67 today you probably would think I haven't done anything with it.
And of course during the winter I don't get much done.
I do start it up once in a while, mainly just to hear that beautiful sound from the tailpipe. (motor from the 73).
Looking back, I should have got rid of the 67 and worked on the 73.
Hopefully I have enough years left to finish it.
