I was lucky enought to find a pretty nice '79 MGB in Atlanta last week. Color is BR Green with White racing strips. I have wanted an MG for years and this one seems to run pretty strong. I'll post some pic's soon.

This looks like a great forum, I am happy to be a part of it. Thanks

Hello Pat,

Welcome to the forum. I had a 1978 MGB myself for a few years. They are great cars.
Enjoy your membership.

Hey, Walk! I just bought a '73 a month ago... having fun making progress with it. I'm over in Tucker, GA (east side of Hotlanta), so give me a shout. I'm looking for local groups but kind of pinned down by work more than I'd like.

Ha, ha. I actually showed up at a Peachtree "meeting" at a pub only to find out I was the only one there. Bartender said they sometimes come around, but he hadn't seen anyone that night. My userID and password don't work on the web site anymore. Person I bought my MG from said she had joined the GA Triumph Association because they are MUCH more active. I'm kind of meeting people one at a time.

Hi Tim, I'm in Lilburn, Ga right down the street from you, I've got a couple Sunbeam Alpine's one of which I drive every chance I get. There's a guy just down the road from me that owns a nice TR3, and has invited me to the Triumph club meetings, but I've yet to make one. the MG club does put on a good show in Old town Norcross in the fall..
