New member with a Q about identifying an engine.

Greetings. I'm a brand new member here, but not a stranger to British cars.

At Mickey's suggestion, I'm posting a link to my post in the Sunbeam forum about an engine I'm trying to identify.

The closest thing I can come up with is a 1959 Minx if they had "Sunbeam" cast into the valve cover, or some other pre-1960 Sunbeam that I can't find any reference to.

Any help would be appreciated.
