New member trying to trace information about my TR3

Hello,

A strange request. I am from the England and have recently bought a Triumph TR3a US Title 550 ZEZ, commission number TS63686LO that was previously owned by a Mr Greggory D Maynard of Austin, TX who owned the car up to 1989, before it was exported to the UK.

I am trying to track down Mr Maynard (or indeed any other previous owners) to see if they have any photo's of the car or interesting stories so that I can try to complete some of the ownership history. Unfortunately, all of the history apart from title documents is missing from it’s time in the US. According to the Heritage Certificate the car was originally shipped to a dealer in Taiwan so must have made its way to the US.

More information on the car can be found at www.jsk404.wordpress.com (particularly the "About" page), although I believe during its time in the US it was Powder Blue (the original colour) rather than the British Racing Green it is currently. If anyone has any information I'd be grateful to hear back from you.

In the meanwhile, it's nice to find another forum with so many Triumph fans - I already recognise a few forum names from the UK TR Register forum!

Many thanks

Richard
