Hi all,
I picked up a '67 TR4A back in September 2010 and had about 6 weeks of driving fun before the winter set in. It was just enough time to get a feel for how the car handles and the little areas that need attention/upgrading. Besides the obvious cosmetic stuff (mostly interior - seats, carpets, dash, etc.), I found the steering a bit wobbly and discovered other minor quirks. Reading discussions on BCF and other online forums, I have already discovered a lot of useful information including the fact that I am missing the PCV valve which could be part of the reason for my excessive oil leak.

I have been tinkering over the last 2 months and have already replaced the dash (bigger job than I anticipated)and some other minor parts. I will post questions in the forum regarding the steering which I am also in the process of fixing. Thanks in advance for the advise which I am sure I will receive.

As soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I will add on of my TR.

Good to have another 4A. The TR forum has been a huge help to me, lots of knowledge and experience there. Welcome

Was the second picture taken at Bronte Creek last fall?
Very pretty!

Good Luck with it.

Hello, and welcome to the Forum! :savewave:

Yes, that was BCD at Bronte Creek. I had owned the car for less than 3 weeks at the time.

I was there and have lots of pics of the show.
Maybe we can meet up sometime. I'm only 1 1/2 hours west of TO

Hi There Dion,

Just a quick "Welcome" to the Party. Your TR4(A)looks pretty nice. Have Fun Here as I`m sure you will.

Regards, Russ

Hi all,

Thanks for all the welcome messages. I've already found lots of useful info in the forums.

Dave - do you attend the TTC events? I attended the engine shop one in Oakville a few weeks ago. Can't attend the one this Wed. eve unfortunately as much as I'd like to. Perhaps we can meet up at one of the events and compare photos from BCD. I took quite a lot as well.

Dion;

I don't get into the GTA very often, (hate traffic)
I'm too far away for too many trips into the city unless it is for the day.
Would love to meet you and compare pics.
Talk to JP. He is living in TO and knows everyone. He's a great guy.
Maybe we can all get together next warm season.
