Hey Folks-
I am new to this forum and happy to be here. I just completed a restoration on my 1973 M151A2, seen in the picture below, so now I am going to apply some time (again) to the AH 3000.

This Healey became mine about 5 years ago and since I have logged many fun and torturous hours into it. It's no trailer queen but I like it. Heck I like trailer queens too... this just isn't one of those.

My Dad bought this 1960 Austin Healey 3000 BT7 in Austin TX 34 years ago and handed it down to me to continue to care for and maintain it. I learned how to drive in this car, as did my brother, and I have memories galore of my childhood that in one way or another feature this auto.

Anyway I am glad to be here and look forward to learning as much as I can and to offering answers where I have them.
Regards,
Matt-

P.S. It does come down from it's perch quite often... I just wanted to show off my new garage lift too :savewave:

Nice Randy! Sweet workshop too. See... just like my wife always tells me... "Matt you aren't that special"

Hi, and welcome to the Forum - get that Healey off the lift and drive it!

Drool, slobber, pant.........that is SO cool! I am SO jealous!! GREAT concept for the door....natural disguise and love the use of the foliage as further cover too!

There is one MAJOR thing wrong though.....there is only ONE car there!! LOL With a lift, you have room for a 2nd LBC!

I saw the link to the story of your MG earlier somewhere, your transformation of the car was excellent as well!

Congrats on both efforts!

Hello mrdibbles.

Welcome to the forum, nice to have you here.

I see you have your priorities right with the Healey above the M151A2. That way with the oil leaking out of the Healey it will protect the M151A2. Smart thinking 99.

Yes love the lift too. My lift has 4 little wheels and a handle to make it go up and down and I'm also working in a 1 car width building.

Regards

Trust me I have plenty of drip trays up under that Healey! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
