Hi, I'm new to the board. Here's a thread about my ongoing car restoration
SP250 resto

I'm also into racing. A pic of the team at Mosport, after winning the GT championship (I'm the tall one in the back):

Both cars, cooling off:

My own track car, at Calabogie (an amazing track!)

And my friend's rally car, who I occasionally crew for (I've co-driven some rallies with him as well)

Welcome aboard...had an SP250 once!

Nice to have another fish car owner on the forum. My 1000849 is in the 3rd year of resto; my 101059 is a driver. I have some pics of both in the members photo section under Daimler. Look forward to seeing pics of yours. We have a fair number of Canadian SP owners in the DLOC-NA club..website dloc-na.org...please join if not a member.

Hi There James,

"Welcome" to the wonderful world of "LBCs" on the "THEE" best Brit Car Forum that you can possibly find.

Your SP looks like a real fun project. Whats it going to be, Orig. or a Racer?

Best Wishes,

Russ

Thanks for the welcomes!

849 - pretty close on the line to my serial #!

Although it would make a very cool vintage racer, the idea is to make the car a very close to stock weekend car.

Russ, I believe that's an E-type in your avatar? My dad almost bought one of those new instead of the Daimler. I asked him one time why he did that, and he said "well, I got this car and your mother instead..."
