I just joined the group this weekend and want to introduce myself. I have a 1972 TR6 Laurel green in color with black interior. I am the only person who has ever done any work on this car since I acquired her back in 1984. I'm currently rebuilding the carbs (175 CD-2 Strombergs). I am at the crossroad of having rebuilt the first carb and with the exception of the metering needle gasket replacement. I can't find any decent schematic or instruction on this topic. The oil damper in the dashpot has never leaked thus making me consider skipping this step which I assume is where the last gasket in my repair kit goes...Any advice? Here goes my first post-hope it works...
