My first TR6 was a new 1973 French Blue while I was at the Naval Academy. Sold it because moves and travels required a larger vehicle. A few years later I bought a used 75 MGB. I drove that car until selling it in 1989. In 2019 I purchased a 1976 Java Green TR6 with only 24k original miles. We just completed a restoration paint job. I am in the midst of an interior effort. The seats have been reconditioned. New dash. All original vinyl. Vehicle has a hard top, overdrive and it is in great condition, Having been warehouse for approximately 39 years. Looking forward to helpful advice as I encounter new and specific British Car issues. Of course love sharing the joy of driving these beautiful vehicles.

sounds like a great car! welcome we're glad you are here

Welcome! Our Son had a TR6 while attending the USNA also.
He was the CLASS of 2006,& is now a Lieutenant Commander.

Welcome to BCF, Chris. I see your avatar picture is turned 90 degrees. Might you have taken that picture with an iPhone? There is a weird quirk with iPhones that causes that 90-degree shift (depending on which orientation you took the picture with). There is an easy fix if you're so inclined. Just open the picture on your phone and crop it just a little tiny bit. Then re-save. Then upload the cropped version and it should appear oriented correctly.
