New member, new owner intro

Greetings fellow members,

I am a very new owner of an 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite project car and happened upon this forum to learn more about the auto, it’s operation, optional upgrades and general questions about how to restore and repair the car. I named the car “Lefty” for a number of reasons.

I am a former business owner and retired 4 years ago after 30+ years in manufacturing. I live part time in CT and CO. I saw my first Bugeye last September at Lime Rock raceway in CT at the vintage auto show and I was hooked. I guess you could say I “got bit by the bug!” and it took me 7 months to find a car that looks reasonably good, generally drivable, and allow me to tinker and learn how to update her.

Looking forward to learning more from the members of this forum.
