Greetings from Cape Coventry Racing!

After much prodding by many members from the Orange County area we decided to join in the fun. We are avid vintage racers who campaign the No. 37 Triumph TR4 (Kas prepared and Tullius driven), another 1963 TR4, a 1965 Spitfire, the 1961 Austin Healey 3000 BN7 Factory Mule (ally bodies, rhd, and containing many developmental factory parts like an aluminum block and dry sump), and a 1969 Sprite. We run in VARA, HMSA, GRL and HSR-West events and are also the jokers that completed (yes we ran until the end) the 2009 24 Hours of LeMons at Thunderhill in a TR7. Just google cape coventry racing and Thunderhill and you can read about our epic effort. Glad to be hear and thanks for the forum. We will post photos of the cars once we figure out how to do it. Hello out there...I think...I'm a retired Navy man in Missouri trying desperately to get my 76 MG B to cooperate long enough to impress the people on main street when I hobble by in it...I started off in a 67 Spitfire I purchased in Coventry; went from that to an MG A (63 I think) - been since 72 and I'm old and forget a lot...
Had some ghost electrons in the MG B; finally got fed up enough to rip everything out and get some new wire harnesses and get everything done right...almost done and I have only 5 wires in the engine compartment I can't identify - I suspected and discovered I was correct in assuming someone previous to me had done some re-engineering on the engine to get it running, so my work is cut out for me.
From the previous posts, I'm not sure I'm in the right area - just a beginner, and
looks like you guys have huge pockets and loads of time to do the racing thing...I just want the darn thing to run...not too fast...just run.
