Has anyone switched from ES to EU S.U. carb needles to lean the mixture. Problem will prob. be fixed when carb rebuild in done this winter. 1947 MG TC

Welcome! Are you going to Bronte on Sunday?

Carb needles are voodoo to me - I typically just lean out the carb a flat or two. Certainly with only a couple of months left in the season it might be worth running a bit rich and then rebuilding over the winter.
