Hello all. I've been lurking a bit, about time to show myself. I've owned MGs and an Austin Healey 3000 in the 70s and 80s. I retired a year ago and purchased a '74 TR6, a one owner car which sat from '77 to 2015 in "Grandma's garage". It was awakened by a British car shop and put up for sale by the son of the original owner who could not see the project through. This car is still wearing the original top, interior and not a bit of rust through in the body, though cosmetically challenged from "shelf wear" sitting for thirty eight years. It runs great and I'm currently working on rebuilding both front and rear suspensions. Good to be back in the British car fold and liking this site!

Wow, that sounds like quite a find, Mark! Welcome to the forum! Hope you'll stick around and become a regular here! We have a great group at BCF!

Welcome to the BCF Mark,

I love the story of your acquisition and would love to see photos. And speaking of photos, back in the early/mid 1970's, I took school portraits at Bermudian Springs Elementary School while working for the then "National School Studios" office in Harrisburg.

Hi longshot and welcome to the BCF.
I have a ‘73 TR6 and I’m just on the other side of the river from you. You will find all the help you need by posting your questions in the “Triumph” section.
